(Milford, UT) — City workers in Milford are back on the job, one day after they resigned in a dispute with the city. The workers in the small town an hour north of Cedar City walked out on Tuesday over a dispute with the mayor and the city council. Milford city offices were closed Wednesday while Mayor Nolan Davis and City Councilman Les Whitney met with four full-time maintenance workers who resigned. A city news release said the workers will receive pay increase of three to five dollars an hour and will be paid overtime for work over 40 hours a week, rather then having to take comp days, among other changes.
