(Kanab, UT) — Residents in some southern Utah towns may start seeing smoke today. That’s because Kaibab National Forest officials will begin a prescribed burn in the Jolly Sink Unit near Jacob Lake, Arizona. Those living in Kanab could start seeing smoke, as well as those in Fredonia in the Grand Canyon State. There will also be prescribed burns in the units of Three Lakes and Road Hollow as conditions allow heading into the summer.
