(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints says members will only have to attend one meeting on Easter Sunday. Church leaders announced yesterday that the only meeting that will be held on April 9th is a sacrament meeting focusing on Christ’s atonement and resurrection. The First Presidency says no other meetings should be held that Sunday and stakes should not hold stake conferences. The announcement also encouraged all members to invite family and friends to church on that Sunday.
