NEPHI, Utah-Ryker Richards led the way with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists on 8-13 from the field as the Juab Wasps pounded Delta 62-35 in Region 14 boys basketball play Wednesday. Marcus Chase led the Rabbits in defeat with 13 points and 9 rebounds.
ROOSEVELT, Utah-Reggie Frischknecht posted 22 points and the Manti Templars got past Union 59-51 in Region 14 boys basketball play Wednesday. Wayke Olsen led the Cougars with 21 points in the loss.

GUNNISON, Utah-Hunter Rhodes amassed 32 points and the Millard Eagles bested Gunnison Valley 62-50 Wednesday in Region 16 boys basketball action. Jet Hill led the Bulldogs with 20 points in the loss.
DUCHESNE, Utah-Jep Young led the way with 16 points and the Duchesne Eagles clobbered North Sevier 67-42 in Region 16 boys basketball play Wednesday. Trayton Christensen’s 13 points led the Wolves in defeat.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Keegan Strickland and Ty Allan had 13 points apiece and the North Sanpete Hawks downed Ben Lomond 65-54 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Jake East led the Scots in defeat with 30 points.

PAROWAN, Utah-Bella Johnson netted 12 points and the Parowan Rams upset Kanab 54-53 Wednesday in Region 19 girls basketball play. Anna Cutler led the Lady Cowboys with 17 points in defeat.
BEAVER, Utah-Gentry Brown stepped up with 11 points and the Beaver Beavers got past South Sevier 45-37 in Region 19 girls basketball action Wednesday. Sydnee Patterson’s game-high 19 points led the Rams in the loss.

ESCALANTE, Utah-Mazee Dunton posted 18 points and the Escalante Moquis surged past Water Canyon 43-26 in Region 20 girls basketball play Wednesday. Martha Jessop led the Wildcats with 12 points in the loss.
TROPIC, Utah-AnDee VanDyke led the way with 15 points and the Wayne Badgers waxed Bryce Valley 34-28 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball action. Shandi Syrett led the Mustangs in defeat with 13 points.
