(Salt Lake City, UT) — A bill that would require the state to audit elections every other year is moving forward in the Utah House. The Government Operations Standing Committee unanimously approved House Bill 269 yesterday. The bill is strongly supported by county clerks across the state according to testimony heard by the committee. The bill now goes to the full House for approval.
