A Snow College student is dead after a car crash just outside of Fountain Green. Around 9:00 a.m. on Jan. 16, Paige Rydalch, age 20 from Stockton, was driving south on SR-132 when wet and slushy roads caused her to lose control of her vehicle. The car spun backwards on the road and into the opposite lane of travel. A Ford F-350 towing a large gooseneck trailer was traveling north and could not stop in time, impacting the rear of the car. Rydalch was the only occupant of her vehicle and was killed on impact. The driver of the F-350 was taken to a local hospital for their injuries. Snow College President Stacee McIff posted on the colleges website, “a tragedy like this impacts all of us. We are grieving the loss of a beloved young woman. We will do all we can to support Paige’s coaches, teammates, classmates, and family during this difficult time.”
