(St. George, UT) — The Dove Center is launching a pilot program in hopes of helping sexual assault survivors in rural areas. In a news release, Executive Director Jillian Penhale said inadequate internet services in rural areas have created barriers for victims seeking help. The group is planning to use money from Department of Health and Human Services to launch a new program in Kane County. The center wants to expand case management and provide group therapy to survivors housed in the Washington County Jail.
