(Salt Lake City, UT) — Health officials are providing details about the number of abortions performed in Utah. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said fewer abortions happened in 2020 than in 2019. There were just over 23-hundred performed in 2020, down over 550 from the year before. The data for 2021 or 2022 has yet to be made public.
