COUNCIL Bluffs, Iowa-Sam Wilber made four field goals, Aiden Niedens ran four yards for a score and Rashion Hodge recorded a 51-yard pick six as the No. 2 Iowa Western Reivers blanked No. 5 Snow 26-0 Saturday.
The Reivers limited the Badgers to 201 yards of offense as Snow fell to 4-2 on the season while improving to 6-0.
Snow returns to action Saturday against the Garden City (CC) Broncbusters for Homecoming for a 1:00 pm kickoff at Stoddard Field at Terry Foote Stadium.
Volleyball
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev.-Bailey Rasmussen, Kesa Makasini and Ashlynn Olsen had 10 kills apiece and the No. 7 Snow Badgers drilled Southern Nevada 3-0 Saturday at the Coyote Event Center in SWAC women’s volleyball play. The Badgers overpowered the Coyotes 25-14, 25-16, 25-22 to obtain the straight sets victory.
Men’s Soccer
EPHRAIM, Utah-James Miles, Lute Avile and Oliver Fehintola each scored and the No. 15 Snow Badgers blanked Truckee Meadows 3-0 in Scenic West men’s soccer play Saturday. Hugo Amo Riano and Nick McNeil combined on the shutout for the Badgers.
Women’s Soccer
EPHRAIM, Utah-Skye Kennedy scored twice and Candela Gonzalez also found the net as the No. 10 Snow Badgers waxed Truckee Meadows 3-1 Saturday in Scenic West women’s soccer action. The Badgers improved to 9-1-1 (6-1-1 in SWAC play) on the season in victory.
