1A State Championship Game @ Snow Canyon High School
ST. GEORGE, Utah-The No. 2 Piute Thunderbirds won their fifth straight baseball state title and 10th overall in school history by dismantling No. 1 Panguitch 7-2 Saturday at Snow Canyon High School in the 1A state baseball championship game. The Thunderbirds have now won state titles in 1983, 1990, 1991, 1997, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-The No. 3 Bryce Valley Mustangs doubled up No. 5 Wayne 8-4 in the 1A 3rd-4th place game Saturday at Snow Canyon High School.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The No. 16 North Sanpete Hawks blanked No. 17 Providence Hall 4-0 Saturday in the first round of the 3A State Tournament. The Hawks next visit No. 1 Real Salt Lake Academy Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
GRANTSVILLE, Utah-The No. 13 Grantsville Lady Cowboys lassoed No. 20 South Summit 5-1 in the first round of the 3A State Tournament Saturday. Grantsville next visits No. 4 Carbon Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-The No. 15 Emery Spartans edged No. 18 Grand 2-1 Saturday in the first round of the 3A State Tournament. The Spartans next visit No. 2 Canyon View in the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday at 4:00 pm.

RICHFIELD, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats stymied South Summit 3-0 at the SVC Tournament Saturday. Richfield prevailed over South Summit 25-17, 25-16, 25-15 in straight sets in the battle of the Wildcats.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The South Sevier Rams blanked Class 4A Pine View 3-0 Saturday at the SVC Tournament. The Rams bested the Panthers 25-21, 25-12, 25-23 to obtain the straight sets victory.
