SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 2 Piute Thunderbirds routed No. 7 Manila 10-0 Tuesday in the 1A state quarterfinals at Nelson Field in Spanish Fork. The Thunderbirds next advance to the Friday semifinal against No. 3 Bryce Valley at 1:30 pm at Snow Canyon High School.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 3 Bryce Valley Mustangs dismantled No. 6 Valley 5-1 in the 1A state quarterfinals at Nelson Field in Spanish Fork Tuesday.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 5 Wayne Badgers routed No. 4 Altamont 13-1 Tuesday at Nelson Field in Spanish Fork in the 1A state quarterfinals. The Badgers next play No. 1 Panguitch in the 1A state semifinals Friday at 11:00 am at Snow Canyon High School.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats dismantled No. 9 Intermountain Christian 10-0 at Nelson Field in Spanish Fork in the 1A state quarterfinals Tuesday.

Region 12
CEDAR CITY, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons upset Richfield 3-2 Tuesday in Region 12 volleyball action. The Falcons recorded their second win of the season by prevailing 25-19, 21-25, 28-16, 13-25, 20-18.
Region 14
ROOSEVELT, Utah-The Union Cougars overpowered Manti 3-0 in Region 14 volleyball play Tuesday. The Cougars downed the Templars 25-15, 28-26, 25-18 for the straight sets win.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks stonewalled Juab 3-0 Tuesday in Region 14 volleyball play. The Hawks downed the Wasps 25-16, 25-15, 25-22 for the straight sets victory.
Region 16
DUCHESNE, Utah-Millard got past Duchesne 3-2 in Region 16 volleyball play Tuesday. Millard prevailed 18-25, 25-15, 25-20, 21-25, 16-14 in the battle of the Eagles.
SALINA, Utah-The North Sevier Wolves stonewalled Gunnison Valley 3-0 Tuesday in Region 16 volleyball play. The Wolves bested the Bulldogs 25-9, 25-23, 25-15.
Region 19
KANAB, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys lassoed South Sevier 3-0 in Region 19 volleyball action Tuesday. Kanab overpowered the Rams 29-27, 26-24, 25-20 to record the win in straight sets.

Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-Mylee Jensen scored and the Richfield Wildcats blanked Grand 1-0 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Macey Pace recorded the shutout for the Wildcats.
Region 14
ROOSEVELT, Utah-Brooklyn Scholes and Abrianna Chiara each scored and the Union Cougars doubled up Manti 2-1 in Region 14 girls soccer action Tuesday. Brooklyn Olson scored for the Templars in defeat.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Mari Briggs and Jessica Applegarth each found the net and the North Sanpete Hawks got past Delta 2-1 Tuesday in Region 14 girls soccer play. Meg Nielson scored in the loss for the Rabbits.
2A South
BEAVER, Utah-The Parowan Rams hammered Beaver 6-1 in 2A South girls soccer action Tuesday.
MONROE, Utah-Kara Camp amassed four goals and the Millard Eagles pounded South Sevier Tuesday in 2A South girls soccer play. Kailey Thurman, Erika Rios, Makenna Maxfield and Savannah Coray also scored for the Eagles in victory. Savannah Wright earned the shutout for the Eagles in the win.
