(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah will be getting more money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help pay for the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. FEMA is sending the state nearly five-million dollars to reimburse Salt Lake County for housing expenses. The grant covers housing for vulnerable and at-risk populations as well as those who were quarantined because of the virus. Utah has now received nearly 320-million dollars from FEMA to cover the state’s pandemic response.
