(Salt Lake City, UT) — Another string of deadly crashes is prompting the Utah Highway Patrol to urge drivers to slow down. UHP says a motorcyclist who died on I-15 in Farmington over the weekend was traveling much faster than the speed limit. So far, Utah has seen 111 fatalities on the road this year, which is up from 94 at the same time in 2021. Troopers remind Utahns there is a new law that greatly increases fines for a driver caught going more than one-hundred miles per hour.
