(Washington, DC) — Republican Senators Mitt Romney and Mike Lee are both expressing support for what could be a decision to overturn Roe versus Wade from the U.S. Supreme Court. A draft opinion was released Monday showing court’s conservative majority striking down the right to an abortion at the federal level. In a statement, Romney stated his desire to see abortion laws turned to the states. Both Romney and Lee also said they were dismayed by the apparent breach of the Court’s “deliberative process,” with Lee claiming it could place undue outside pressure on the justices.
