(Salt Lake City, UT) — Westminster College is facing blowback for a course it plans to offer in May. The elective course is titled ” Porn” and is structured to analyze pornographic films and material. Instructors would discuss how sexual inequalities are reflected and reinforced through the multi-billion-dollar industry, and evaluate its overall effects on society. Conservative advocacy groups placed a petition on Change-dot-org to have the course removed, but so far have not met their five-hundred-signature goal.
