(Salt Lake City, UT) — Latter-day Saint temples will gradually return to normal operations. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced temples will begin to ease COVID-19 restrictions, including face mask requirements and capacity limits. Area presidencies will make the decision on whether to resume normal operations based on COVID-19 transmission in their communities. The LDS Church has reopened temples in phases, requiring members to make appointments and limiting some religious ceremonies.
