UDOT Warns Drivers Ahead Of President’s Day Winter Storm

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah drivers are being warned about possible hazards due to winter weather that will impact holiday travel. A winter weather advisory is in effect for much of Utah today, and forecasters are expecting about an inch of snow overnight in the Salt Lake City area. Two to four inches could accumulate during the day. The Utah Department of Transportation was pre-treating roads yesterday and said all crews will be on duty today to keep roads clear. Snow is expected to continue tomorrow and Wednesday.
