(St. George, UT) — The Utah Department of Health says it is pausing rapid COVID-19 tests because they failed to find the virus 62-percent of the time. Health officials say they will provide rapid tests from different manufacturers for people who want to take it at home and need a quicker result. The tests in question are manufactured by GenBody. Testing sites will only offer the more thorough PCR swab test, that needs 24 to 72 hours for a result.
