(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Highway Patrol says troopers responded to at least 189 crashes statewide as a result of the first winter storm of the season. The number is through 5:30 p.m. last night. Up to two-feet of snow is expected in the mountains before the storm ends today. The Utah Department of Transportation says their crews remain busy clearing roads from the storm.
