Utah Parents Split On COVID-19 Vaccine For Kids

(Undated) — Parents across Utah are split over vaccinating their children against COVID-19. In a new poll released Tuesday, eight-percent of parents with children under the age of 18 say they will not vaccinate their child while 10-percent have already gotten their child vaccinated. Among the parents in Utah who said they will not vaccinate their child against COVID-19, 46-percent said they decided not to do so because they don’t believe the vaccine is necessary, while only 16-percent said they’re worried about side effects. The poll comes as less than 48-percent of children in the state ages 12-to-15 are fully vaccinated.
