The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has announced the location for the new temple to be built in Ephraim. The temple will be built on a 9.16 acre site located at the intersection of 200 North and 400 East.

In the announcement it was shared that plans call for a three story temple of approximately 39,000 square feet. Project leaders will soon start working with city officials on preliminary plans for the temple and leaders will begin filing public documents in the coming months.

The Ephraim Utah Temple will serve more than 31,000 Latter-day Saints in its district. Groundbreaking dates have not been set.
