PROVO, Utah-BYU sophomore signal-caller Jaren Hall was named as the College Sports Madness Independent Offensive Player of the Week for Week 7 of the college football season as confirmed Monday.
Hall completed 22 of 31 passes for 342 yards and a score in the Cougars’ 38-24 loss to Baylor Saturday at Waco, Texas.
Hall also added a 56-yard touchdown run for the Cougars, his longest of the season.
Presently, Hall has completed 62.1 percent of his passes (95-153) on the season for 1,205 yards, 9 touchdowns and 3 interceptions for 5-2 BYU.
Cougars tailback Tyler Allgeier was named the CSM Independent Offensive Player of the Week in Week 5 as BYU vanquished Utah State 34-20.
