(Midvale, UT) — Family and friends of a Utah Marine killed in Afghanistan are preparing to lay him to rest later this week at Arlington National Cemetery. A memorial ceremony for Staff Sergeant Taylor Hoover was held Saturday at Hillcrest High School in Midvale. His fiancee paid tribute to Hoover during the ceremony, telling stories about their life together and their future plans as a married couple. The staff sergeant was one of 13 members of the American military killed during an explosion in Kabul last month. He will be buried in Arlington on Friday.
