ORDERVILLE, Utah-Tucker Chappell drove in three runs and the Panguitch Bobcats clobbered Valley 13-1 Wednesday in 1-A South baseball play.

JUNCTION, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds scored three runs in the first and four runs in the second inning to pull away from Pinnacle 11-1 Wednesday in 1A South Region action.

TROPIC, Utah-The Bryce Valley Mustangs pitching staff threw a no-hitter as they earned a 5-0 shutout win over Green River Wednesday in 1A South Region play.

Volleyball

Region 20

ESCALANTE, Utah-The Escalante Moquis swept Valley 3-0 in Region 20 volleyball action Wednesday. The Moquis prevailed over the Buffaloes, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Hailee Eyre posted 21 kills and the Panguitch Bobcats drilled Wayne 3-0 Wednesday in Region 20 volleyball play. The Bobcats bested the Badgers 25-14, 25-14, 25-18.

MILFORD, Utah-The Milford Tigers pounded Diamond Ranch 3-0 in Region 20 volleyball play Wednesday. The Tigers routed the Diamondbacks, 25-11, 25-14, 25-5.

TROPIC, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds stormed past Bryce Valley 3-1 Wednesday in Region 20 volleyball play. The T-Birds downed the Mustangs, 25-15, 19-25, 25-5, 25-15.

MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier Girls Tennis team opened their season with a 3-2 win over Gunnison Valley Wednesday in non-region play. South Sevier won in 1st singles with Kaizlee Bringhurst, in 1st doubles with Taysia Thompson and Katelynn Sorenson, and Laken Larson and Mya Deaton won in 2nd doubles for the Rams. The Bulldogs won 2nd and 3rd singles.
