(Salt Lake City, UT) — Bridal Veil Falls is one step close to becoming a new state monument. A committee in the Utah House unanimously passed House Concurrent Resolution 13, which would give new protections to preserve the landmark in Provo Canyon. Supporters say monument status would help improve trails and public facilities in the area. It would also protect the Falls from potential commercial development.
