OGDEN, Utah-Monday, the Big Sky Conference women’s volleyball poll was released with Weber State selected fifth overall and Southern Utah University at 10th.

The Wildcats are fresh off the heels of a campaign which saw them qualify for the Big Sky tournament for the first time in nine years.

Weber State’s roster consists of five returning starters and six newcomers.

The Wildcats are led by senior outside hitter Andrea Hale of Elk Ridge, Utah who earned second-team all-conference honors last season.

The Idaho Vandals were picked as the conference favorites, netting nine first-place votes, while Northern Arizona was picked second, garnering two first-place votes.
