OGDEN, Utah-Friday, Weber State football hosts its open house for the additions to the northern end of Stewart Stadium, which features a new locker room among other amenities.
This addition, officially known as the Barbara and Rory Youngberg Football Center, is now open and the public is invited to tour the building.
This 27,000-square foot building now serves as the official entrance to Stewart Stadium.
A public open house and ribbon cutting occurs Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm.
The proceedings will feature remarks from Weber State president Dr. Brad Mortensen, athletic director Tim Crompton and football head coach Jay Hill.
The ribbon cutting officially occurs at 4:30 pm and fans are invited on a self-guided tour from 4:30-6:00 pm.
The Wildcats commence their home season Saturday at 6:00 pm against the Cal Poly Mustangs as this will begin their Big Sky Conference season as well.
