OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State football placed two on the STATS Perform FCS preseason All-American team.

Wildcats junior offensive lineman Noah Atagi made the second team and junior cornerback Eddie Heckard obtained third-team honors.

Atagi is a two-time first-team All-Big Sky performer.

Heckard is a two-time first-team All-Big Sky standout. Heckard has five career interceptions and 23 career pass breakups.

Weber State commences fall practice August 3 and hosts NCAA Division II Western Oregon September 1 at Stewart Stadium to open the season.
