MONTICELLO, Utah-Friday, Wayne’s boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Loyd’s Lake Classic, hosted by Monticello High School.

The Badgers’ girl’s squad placed eighth posting 121 points, with host Monticello netting 18 points to take the title.

In the 3-mile run,Wayne’s boys were led by West Saunders (24th place), Miles Guerrero (27th place) and Mavrik Brown (53rd place).

In the girl’s varsity 3-mile run, Wayne’s Felicity Williams placed 14th, Kenna Stephenson finished 32nd, Shaleen Nelson placed 35th and Allee Van Dyke finished 44th overall.
