WASATCH MOUNTAIN STATE PARK, Utah-Saturday, the Wasatch XC Invitational concluded with Day 2 of competition at Soldier Hollow at Wasatch Mountain State Park.

Various Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network athletes competed in Wave 2 of the boys and girls varsity competitions.

These waves each consisted of the standard 3-mile run that is a staple of competition at cross country meets.

In Wave 2 of the girls varsity competition, Manti junior Fiel Woods placed 12th (20:37.60). North Sanpete freshman Mari Briggs placed 18th (20:59.50) with Manti sophomore Keltsy Fowles (21:09.90) placing 21st.

North Sanpete junior Aubry Cook (21:27.10) placed 26th and her teammates, sophomore Madelyn Christensen (22:04.60) and senior Tamsin Stewart (22:05.10) placed 37th and 38th respectively.

North Sanpete junior Rachael Jones (23:07.90) placed 52nd and her teammate, freshman Jocelyn Stewart, finished 56th (23:17.80).

Manti sophomore Isabella Knudsen (23:20.20) finished 57th and North Sanpete sophomore Tylee Henrie (24:30.10) placed 68th.

Manti freshman Cami Merrill (24:35.80) finished 70th and her teammate, sophomore Kaylee Gowans, placed 76th (24:54.70).

Manti senor Savannah Withers (25:08.40) placed 78th and her junior teammate, Alice Grover (25:10.20) finished 80th.

Wave 2 of the varsity boys competition featured Wasatch Academy senior Christopher Korir (17:27.10) placing 34th. Manti junior Josiah Carter (18:13.90) placed 54th. Manti sophomore Tyler Taggart (18:21.30) finished 58th and his teammate, sophomore Kaystan K. Larsen (18:27.50) finished 61st.

North Sevier sophomore Keaton Hallows (18:33.80) placed 64th with his teammates, junior Tate Goble (18:46.40) and senior Kelby Bosh (18:47.80) finishing 71st and 72nd respectively.

North Sanpete senior Gage Cox (18:48.00) placed 73rd and his teammate, sophomore Ryland Cook, placed 80th (19:03.20).

Manti senior Jace Sweat (19:10.50) placed 87th and his teammate, sophomore Trevor Taggart (19:13.20) placed 88th.

Manti senior Ben Johnson placed 94th (19:23.50) with his teammate, junior Hunter Powell (19:25.90) finishing 96th.

Manti sophomore Brayden Braithwaite (19:50.60) placed 108th and North Sanpete senior Jared Strait (19:52.00) and his teammate, junior Morgan Bowles (20:03.70) finished 109th and 110th respectively.

North Sanpete sophomore Tezra Fisk (20:20.00) placed 114th and his teammates, sophomore Thayne Smith (23:54.20) and freshman Jerry Jones (24:24.00) placed 136th and 139th respectively.

In this section, Manti placed 11th (308 points) and North Sanpte 14th (417 points). Class 6-A power American Fork wo this team wave with 42 points.
