OREM, Utah-Monday, Utah Valley women’s basketball camps, which were scheduled to begin Tuesday, were canceled as announced by head coach Cathy Nixon.

This UVU women’s basketball team-sponsored camp was previously originally scheduled for boys and girls entering kindergarten through 8th grade on June 12-14 prior to the cancellation announcement.

This past weekend, UVU women’s college basketball completed its second of two team jamborees hosted this month.

The summer camp schedule will now resume Saturday June 16 and this will be an individual camp for girls in 9th-12th grade.

Women’s basketball teams camps will run from June 20-22 and these camps consist of individual skills clinics and team offensive and defensive clinics as well as team practice sessions, 3-minute tournaments and full-court games.
