OREM, Utah-Utah Valley University head men’s basketball coach Mark Madsen confirmed open tryouts for the Wolverines squad will be underway September 9 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the NUVI Basketball Practice Facility.

Students hoping to participate in this tryout will need to have completed a medical physical before participating, while submitting proof of the physical.

Participants will need to meet all requirements found in the tryout clearance packet which should be downloaded and filled out completely.

This information should be submitted to the men’s basketball offices in the NUVI Center, or to the athletic compliance offices in the Wolverine Service Center by Friday September 4.

Students must be enrolled in 12 credits minimum to tryout, be academically eligible, and have current, valid health insurance.
