Utah State Men’s Basketball Hosts College of Idaho In Exhibition Wednesday

LOGAN, Utah-Wednesday, the No. 17 Utah State men’s basketball hosts NAIA foe College of Idaho of Nampa, Idaho for their only exhibition game of the season at the Spectrum in Logan.

Dating back to the 2008-09 season, the Aggies have won 18 of their last 19 exhibition games.

This game commences the Aggies’ 50th season of playing at the Spectrum.

Utah State comes into this game boasting the second-tallest average height of players in the country (6-7.5). Only the Washington Huskies (6-8.2) have a taller average than the Aggies.

Along with the perennial Big Ten power Michigan State, Utah State was the only team in the nation last season to finish in the top-10 nationally in defensive field-goal percentage (.393), assists per game (17.1) and rebounding margin per game (8.8).

The Yotes come into Wednesday’s game having played two games on the season. They defeated Montana Western 89-80 and Montana Tech 90-84 last weekend.

College of Idaho currently scores 83.1 points per game and is shooting 46.4 percent from the field.

The Yotes are connecting at a 38.7 percent clip behind the arc and have made 68.9 percent of their foul shots.

College of Idaho’s brightest stars are senior guards Nate Bruneel (18 points, 4.5 rebounds per game this season) and Talon Pinckney (10 points, 7.5 assists per game in 2019-20).

Junior guard Ricardo Time is averaging a team-best 5.5 rebounds per game on the season thus far for the Yotes.
