LOGAN, Utah-Wednesday, Utah State senior punter Stephen Kotsanlee and BYU junior Ryan Rekhow were named to the Ray Guy Award preseason watch list as confirmed by the Augusta Sports Council.

Kotsanlee ranked 38th nationally and sixth in school history last season by averaging 43.4 yards per punt.

Kotsanlee, a native of Melbourne, Australia, is a third-team All-Mountain West Conference preseason selection and made the Athlon Sports and Phil Steele’s third teams for the conference as well.

Rekhow averaged 42.6 yards per punt last season for the Cougars.

The semifinalists for this award will be named November 10.

Kotsanlee and his Aggies teammates start the season September 2 by visiting Iowa.
