SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-Monday, the University of Utah’s men’s basketball team was selected to be among the participants at the 2020 Battle 4 Atlantis at the Sanford Pentagon of Sioux Falls, S.D.

The Utes will be joined at this prestigious event by traditional powers Creighton, Duke, Ohio State, West Virginia, Wichita State, Memphis and Texas A&M.

Five of these squads, Duke, Creighton, West Virginia, Ohio State and Memphis are currently ranked in the “Rothstein 45,” a power-ranking system created by CBS Sports Network college basketball analyst Jon Rothstein.

The official dates for this event will be decided after the Indianapolis-based NCAA announces college basketball’s official start following Wednesday’s Division I council meeting.
