SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, University of Utah men’s basketball head coach Craig Smith announced the signing of former East Carolina forward Ezra Ausar.
Last season, the Snellville, Ga. native posted 11.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game for the Pirates and scored in double figures 18 times.
Ausar originally signed with New Mexico out of college before ultimately playing at East Carolina.
As a high schooler at Liberty Heights Athletic Institute of Charlotte, N.C., Ausar was a four-star prospect according to On3 Sports and 247 Sports.
Ausar will be a junior headed into next season for the Runnin’ Utes.
