Utah Men’s Basketball Hosts UCLA For Senior Day

SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, Utah men’s basketball (16-13, 10-7 in Pac-12 play) hosts UCLA (16-14, 9-8 in Pac-12 play) for Senior Day at the Huntsman Center.

Should the Utes down the Bruins Saturday, they would secure the #3 seed for the upcoming Pac-12 tournament at Las Vegas.

The Utes’ seniors will be honored after the game. Those to be honored include guard Sedrick Barefield, senior guard Parker Van Dyke, forward Novak Topalovic and guard Beau Rydalch.

The Utes score 75.8 points per game and surrender 74.6 points per contest.

Barefield remains the Utes’ leading scorer, netting 16.8 points per game.

Freshman forward Timmy Allen (12 points, 5.1 rebounds per game) and sophomore forward Donnie Tillman (10.2 points, 5.3 rebounds per game) have also proven solid for the Utes this season.

The Bruins score 78.3 points per game and surrender 77.3 points per contest, having outscored opponents on the season 2348-2320.

UCLA’s statistical leaders are sophomore guard Kris Wilkes (17.2 points, 4.8 rebounds per game), sophomore guard Jaylen Hands (13.9 points per game) and freshman center Moses Brown (10.2 points, 8.5 rebounds per game).

The Bruins lead the Utes 10-9 all-time and the Utes are 4-3 all-time at home against UCLA.
