SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, University of Utah men’s basketball added Williston State transfer Jordan Kellier to the squad next season per a statement from Utes head coach Larry Krystkowiak.
Kellier, a 6-6, 215-pound guard out of Kingston, Jamaica averaged 17.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per game last season for the Tetons of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Kellier is a sophomore and as such will have three seasons of eligibility for the Utes.
Kellier is the third Jamaican national to be on a Division I roster this upcoming season, joining Illinois center Kofi Cockburn and Manhattan forward Warren Williams.
Kellier will be joining fellow newcomers to the Utes’ program, shooting guard Ian Martinez (Junipero Serra H.S., Calif.) and Swedish national combo guard Pelle Larsson.
