LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State University quarterback Jordan Love was named as the Mountain West Conference’s offensive player of the week after the Aggies’ 42-32 win over Air Force Saturday.

Love completed 26 of 38 passes (68.4 percent) for a career-high 356 yards and a career-high tying 2 touchdown passes.

This season, Love has completed 90 of 135 passes (66.7 percent) for 1,070 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions.

Love is currently fifth in the Mountain West Conference and 25th nationally in passing (267.5 yards per game) and third in the conference and 29th nationally in completion percentage.

The Aggies are now on their only bye of the season before facing in-state rival Brigham Young at Provo October 5. This will be an ESPN-2 broadcast.
