USU Football’s Jordan Love Invited To Manning Passing Academy

LOGAN, Utah-Tuesday, Utah State football junior quarterback Jordan Love is one of 35 collegiate signal-callers to be invited to the prestigious Manning Passing Academy.

The camp, which is in its 20th season, runs from June 27-30 at Thibodaux, La. on the campus of Nicholls State University.

Other noteworthy signal-callers to be invited include Alabama’s Tuo Tagovailoa, Trevor Lawrence of Clemson, Steven Montez of Colorado and Nebraska’s Adrian Martinez.

Love and his peers will spend four days working out and also act as counselors for high school quarterbacks that will be attending.

Love will have the opportunity to work out with multiple Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning. He will also have the privilege to watch film, get tips from the Mannings on ways to watch film and work out more effectively and learn more about their off-field work.

The 6-4 220-pound Love earned second-team All-Mountain West Conference honors in 2018, throwing for 3,567 yards, 32 touchdown passes and only six interceptions.

Love led the Mountain West in passing efficiency, placing him 10th nationally (158.3) and his 32 touchdown passes ranked him eighth in the nation.

Love and his teammates commence fall camp August 1 ahead of the August 30 season opener at Wake Forest.
