LAS VEGAS-Saturday, former BYU star tailback Tyler Allgeier and former Southern Utah star tackle Braxton Jones were each drafted in the 5th round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Allgeier was selected No. 151 overall by the Atlanta Falcons and Jones, also a former Murray High School star, went No. 168 overall to the Chicago Bears.
Allgeier is coming off a sophomore campaign for the Cougars which saw him post 1,601 rushing yards, 1,800 scrimmage yards and 23 net touchdowns.
