ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday, the Dixie State athletic department announced that with Trailblazer Stadium renovations having been completed, the track and west grandstand are now open for public use.

The stadium’s track is available for public use Monday-Friday from 6:00-11:00 am unless a Dixie State athletic event or practice is underway, or if any other event is occurring on the football field surface.

Should an event be scheduled on the field or in the stadium where general public use of the track would interfere with the event, the track will be unavailable.

Athletic director Dr. Jason Boothe also requests that should community members witness any acts of vandalism or otherwise inappropriate behavior, they should immediately notify Dixie state personnel.

Boothe also said additional renovations at the stadium will be completed over the summer and will impact track availability. Additionally, Boothe confirmed DSU will also be performing routine maintenance and cleaning on the track which will require it to be closed for a couple of days every month.
