LOS ANGELES-In news revealed Wednesday afternoon by the Loyola Marymount athletic department, the Lions men’s basketball squad’s season opener against Southern Utah November 25 will have a 6:00 pm MST tipoff.

This was initially an 8:00 pm MST tipoff at Gersten Pavilion on the Loyola Marymount campus in Los Angeles.

The change in this schedule, per the LMU athletic department, was to help the Thunderbirds get back to Cedar City earlier.

The Lions defeated SUU 61-51 in last season’s meeting at Los Angeles.
