SUU Football’s Zach Larsen; USU Football’s Dominik Eberle; BYU’s Uriah Leiataua, Named As Nominees For Prestigious Award

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Tuesday, just hours after being named to Big Sky Conference’s preseason first team, Southern Utah University football center Zach Larsen was nominated for a prestigious award.

Larsen, a senior out of Draper, Utah and Jordan High School, has been nominated for the Allstate AFCA Good Works award by virtue of his community service in Cedar City.

Also, Utah State senior kicker Dominik Eberle was nominated for this award as was BYU junior defensive lineman Uriah Leiataua.

This award dates back to 1992 and features 137 nominees from throughout college football, including NCAA Division I (FBS and FCS), NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

One honorary head coach will also be selected for this award. The announcement of the final 22-man team will come September 12.
