EPHRAIM, Utah- Snow College women’s basketball forward/center, freshman Beth Dow, has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week after helping lead the Lady Badgers to a 2-0 record last week, including a 79-43 win over Western Wyoming and a 83-56 win over the Snow College All-Stars.
Dow, a native of Preston, ID (Preston HS) totaled 35 points and 24 rebounds on the week, in addition to four steals, three blocks and two assists.
Over two games, Dow averaged 17.5 points and 12 rebounds. She was credited with 18 points and 11 rebounds in Snow’s 27-point win over the Snow College All-Stars and chipped in another 17 points and 13 rebounds in the Lady Badgers’ 36-point win over Western Wyoming.
Snow College will return to action on December 30 – January 1 at the Bruce Fleck Classic at Tucson, Ariz. The Lady Badgers will take on Chandler-Gilbert on December 30, followed by a New Year’s Eve tilt against Pima C.C.. On New Year’s Day, Snow will take on No. 22 Cochise College.
