EPHRAIM, Utah-Hadlee Walker and Ayden Fitch homered and the Snow Badgers routed Colorado Northwestern 8-2 Friday in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader. Andrea Sweat posted five strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers. Breelyn Button and Angelina Romero each drove in a run in defeat for the Spartans.

EPHRAIM, Utah-Hadlee Walker homered twice and the Snow Badgers completed a Friday sweep of Colorado Northwestern with a 21-2 rout of the Spartans in SWAC softball play. Saige Ewing recorded five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle. Aly Lundberg homered in the loss for Colorado Northwestern. Following Friday’s results, the Badgers improved to 20-14 and 9-8 in SWAC play. Colorado Northwestern fell to 0-27 and 0-17 in SWAC play. The squads play another doubleheader Saturday with the first game at 12:00 pm.
