EPHRAIM, Utah-Alyssa Mighell, Mikelle Anthony and Bailey Marvin each homered and the No. 16 Salt Lake Community College Bruins outlasted Snow 22-18 in nine innings Friday to complete a SWAC doubleheader sweep of the Badgers. Tiffany Hermansen posted three strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to get the victory in the circle for the Bruins. McCall Maxfield and Hadlie Walker homered in the loss for the Badgers.

EPHRAIM, Utah-Trinity Benson drove in a pair of runs and the No. 16 Salt Lake Community College Bruins routed Snow 8-0 in the first game of a SWAC doubleheader Friday. Tiffany Hermansen posted four strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bruins.

Following Friday’s results, the Bruins improved to 22-7 and 16-2 in SWAC play. The Badgers fell to 16-9 and 8-6 in league play.

The Bruins and Badgers meet again Saturday at Ephraim for another doubleheader. Games are slated for 12 and 2 pm.
