Riley Nelson Joins The Nu Skin BYU Sports Network Radio Team

PROVO, Utah-Tuesday, former BYU quarterback Riley Nelson was added as the newest member of the Nu Skin BYU Sports Network radio team for football broadcasts.

Nelson takes the baton from former analyst Marc Lyons who retired in 2018 after 38 years in the broadcast booth.

Greg Wrubell returns for his 19th season as “Voice of the Cougars” while former BYU receiver Mitchell Juergens returns for his second season as a sideline reporter.

Jason Shepherd of BYUTV and BYU Radio returns as the host of the network’s extensive pregame, halftime and post-game coverage.

Nelson played for the Cougars from 2009-2012, as well at Utah State in 2006 and started 19 games. He amassed almost 5,000 passing yards in his collegiate career for 41 touchdowns and 28 interceptions.

You can hear Nelson’s broadcasts this upcoming autumn as Mid-Utah Radio broadcasts BYU football games on KSVC-AM 980 and 100.5 FM.
