Richfield wins Region 12 boys golf tournament; All-Region team honored

STERLING, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats won a close Region 12 tournament Monday at Palisade State Park Golf Course.

The Wildcats shot a 327 as a team to win region with Carbon coming in a close second, shooting 331 as a team. Grand County finished third with a 347 followed by Canyon View’s 352 and Emery rounded out the tournament with a 356.

Individually Carbon’s Bode Salas won the tournament with a 71. Wyatt Toney of Grand placed second with a 74. Richfield took the next three spots with Keaton Anderson shooting an 80, Jaygen Mullen and Dylan Stubbs tied for fourth with Canyon View’s Jack Vickers all shooting an 82.

Region 12 also recognized the top 12 players over the course of the season as its All-Region team:
