Report: NBA Wants To Salvage Season

(Undated) — The NBA wants to find a way to resume the suspended season, no matter what.

ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reports that the general sense among owners and players is that they want to complete the season, even if it means stretching into the summer or fall.

Shelburne added that no one wants to start a new season without finishing this one.

The Utah Jazz were fourth in the Western Conference standings when play was suspended. The Milwaukee Bucks were first in the Eastern Conference at the time play was suspended, while the L.A. Lakers were first in the West.

The Lakers were slight favorites over the Bucks and Clippers to win the NBA championship in betting circles.
